The forum.

Jus to let everybody know that I'll still be posting designs, animations and stuff here. But I'll link to posts on the forum. I'd find it a lot easier that way.

I got my graphics tablet sorted again after months of nothing. So I'll probably be able to do more advanced lineart colouring and shading.

I dunno how many people still play it, but for over five years I've been creating textures and modifying alphas for a variety of 3D programs and games.

The Sims was what started me off, and when the Sims 2 cames out I went to town. I used to spend more time creating stuff than actually playing the game. I keep working on them today. But I've not submitted anything to mod the sims for ages. And I've become much better.

I might create a set of eyes next time. Since I can pretty much do those in my sleep and the ones I've put up already are pretty bleagh. Even by my standards at the time.

The one issue I have is skin. I'm getting better at that too. But the lessons about it in Anniesland were ones that I missed due to illness. So again like everything else I've had to teach myself.

I've not worked on the project I did the best at for nearly two years. So based on little experiments I did since then, I've either gotten worse or better. I'll just have to try it out and see.

Also I'm big on creating new skins for Operation Genesis at the moment. I need to get better at scales and feathers as well.


And one last thing... The light box, downstairs scanner and portable hard drive are ready to go. So this weekend while I'm experimenting with a new eating regime I'll have plenty of time to get creative. Might even have some left over for more personal projects. I'd like to get back into creating music tracks and maybe adding them to newgrounds or something.

I've been watching these channels for about a year now at least. They're where you can see some great 2D and 3D animated shorts and special effects. Including works from the students of Gobelins in France, CalArts and submissions to various film festivals and competitions.
Great for casual watching as well as for reference.

This site is annoying to do anything on. I have to comment on people's stuff for college and I'm not allowed to without typing in a word in a difficult to read font, and the bit for typing that in GOES OFF THE DAMN PAGE!

It's already bad enough that I have to post my own stuff and I have to scan it on another computer to transfer it to my own to post.

Seriously. This thing needs organising better.
